During the month of October, Bizarre Bucktown explores the neighborhood's deep secrets, strange mysteries, and shocking history. This special version of the tour includes stories that are told only during Halloween season.
Bucktown is one of Chicago's best neighborhoods and is located just two miles North of downtown. The Dark Tales of Bucktown tour begins on what appears to be a quiet residential street. We'll walk briskly, for about a mile, visiting sites with stories that are sure to leave you with a chill down your spine. The tour concludes about 75 minutes later outside Club Lucky, a gem of a cocktail bar and restaurant, with a spirit of its own.
Hi, I'm Gordon Meyer. I created the tour and personally conduct each one. I've lived in the neighborhood for fifteen years. I’m a graduate of the Second City Training Center, and I’ve been a magician for decades so you can expect some surprises along the way. Oh, and I’m also very tall.
Important COVID-19 Info: You must be fully vaccinated to attend. Tours take place outdoors and the size of the group is strictly limited. (Your guide, Gordon, is fully vaccinated.)
Tickets must be purchased in advance
Dark Tales of Bucktown: $30 per person
Adults Only (21+)
Private tours, for groups of two or more, are available during evenings in November. Private tours are not available in October. Send an email to gordon @ BizarreBucktown.com to enquire about scheduling.
